Controls
Walk: arrow keys or numpad, or click a tile. Ctrl + arrow turns.
Right-click anything for a menu: look, use, use with, open, attack, follow, trade.
Shift + click: look. Ctrl + click: use (open, eat). Alt + click: attack, or use with.
Drag items between the map, your equipment and backpacks. Hold Ctrl while dropping to choose how many.
F1-F12: hotkeys (the Hotkeys button sets spells; right-click a backpack item for items). Minimap: click to walk there, scroll to zoom.
Esc: stop walking and attacking, close a dialog.
Chat: Enter sends to the open tab. In Default, start with #y to yell or #w to whisper. Spells are said in Default.
Controller (Xbox or similar; press a button once): left stick or d-pad walks, right stick moves a cursor. A clicks (hold to drag), B opens the menu, X attacks the next monster, Y looks. LB RB LT RT are F1-F4. Left stick click uses, right stick click brings the cursor back to you. View is Esc, Menu goes to the chat line. The browser only allows a controller over https or on the computer running the server.
Phone or tablet: drag the stick to walk, tap the map to walk there, hold anything for its menu, drag items to move them. ⚔ attacks the next monster, ✋ stops, 💬 opens the chat, ☰ this panel. The Phone layout button below switches.
